Womens Environmental Network
is the only organisation in the UK working consistently for women and the environment.
Our vision is a world where women are aware of their ability to change the environment for
the better and actively come together to do so. We campaign against excessive waste, climate
change, harmful chemicals in cosmetics, disposable nappies and run organic garden projects.
In 2007 WEN launched the "Women's Manifesto on Climate Change" and "Storm in a Teacup",
its campaign to empower women to take action on climate change and follow up on the Manifesto
with MPs, government ministers, civil servants, industry leaders and other women's organisations
in order to raise awareness of what women want Government and industry to do about climate
change.

The proposed Seale Hayne Centre will be the UK's first dedicated
"How-To" centre for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Our focus is to convert research into action to deliver trusted
information and real solutions for a more sustainable future

Artists' Project Earth aims to help create a better world by bringing the power of music and the
arts to 21st century challenges. It supports effective projects and awareness raising initiatives to
combat climate change and raises funds for natural disaster relief.
